My Take on the VP Debate

1. Palin.

Expectations had been set so low for her that all she basically had to do was not screw up. She stood rigidly, rarely blinked and her voice had a nervous quaver to it as if she was running for student council president. She refused to respond to questions that didn't match what had been hammered into her brain on the debate prep.

So? So she didn't screw up, but didn't win either.

2. Biden.

Very disciplined, gracious and yet came armed with facts and actually answered the questions. Bit back at Palin a few times when her distortions became too egregious. Very focused on McCain (who, after all, is Top of the Ticket) and showed some real humanity when talking about the traffic accident that claimed his wife.

So? My opinion is that The Plagiarist won.
